День Вишиванки

День вишиванки - поки ще не офіційне і відносно нове народне свято, покликане сприянню єдності і культурного відродження всього багатонаціонального українського народу. Воно відзначається в третій четвер травня. У 2020 році День вишиванки припадає на 21 травня.

У третій четвер травня всі українці на знак єдності вдягаються у вишиванки. Цьогоріч, попри карантин, свято буде ще яскравішим і ріднішим.

Так повелося, що завжди, коли нам добре та гарно, ми вдягаємо те, що для нас більше, ніж просто одяг, - наші вишиванки. У них дівчата і жінки ще вродливіші, чоловіки - особливо мужні та стильні, діти - ніби янголята у чудових рукотворних шатах.

Вишиванку творять з любов'ю, вкладаючи у кожен візерунок певний смисл, щирі думки і душу. У вишивальниць є багато традицій і обрядів перед власне процесом вишивання, тому що це - особлива творчість, у якій передається наша українська краса, наша душа. 

Вишита сорочка - свого роду оберіг, символ здоров’я, добробуту та краси, щасливої долі й родової пам'яті, любові та святковості. Коли говорять, що людина народилася в сорочці, мають на увазі, що це - щаслива людина.  

Цьогорічний День вишиванки - день Родоводу

"День Вишиванки 2020 присвячується українській родині та родоводу. Пандемія дала можливість зупинитись та осмислити, що насправді важливо - турбота про старше покоління та виховання освіченого, гуманного наступного, - вважають організатори свята, громадська організація "Всесвітній день вишиванки". 

"Закликаємо кожного присвятити карантинний період дослідженню власного роду. Формування дерева роду - не тільки захоплива справа, це - вкрай важлива складова повернення історичної пам’яті цілого народу. Розпитайте у старших родичів про своїх пра-пра, звідки вони родом, ким були і які насправді мали прізвища. Ви відкриєте для себе багато несподіваних фактів про примусові переселення, зросійщення, участь у визвольній боротьбі, репресіях, втратах родини під час голодоморів. Разом з тим, ви відшукаєте у своїх родоводах і видатних науковців, лікарів, митців, військових - родичів, які насправді були героями свого часу.

Також День Вишиванки - День Родоводу присвячуємо видатним українським родинам, кілька поколінь котрих робили значний внесок у розбудову української державності, культури, науки. Таким чином прагнемо заповнити пустку в інформаційному просторі і привернути увагу українців до того, що кожен український рід є частиною кореня, з якого виростає Україна", - говорять організатори святкової імпрези. 

Весь світ - у вишиванці!

Сьогодні мільйони українців по всьому світу вберуться у вишиванки. Багато неукраїнців у всіх куточках світу на знак солідарності з нами, на знак дружби і поваги до нас також вдягне цей безмежно гарний витвір рук українців.   

І ми ще раз звернемо особливу увагу на наші традиції та звичаї, відчуємо на собі цю особливо рідну вдяганку. Вишиванка - як молитва, особливе вбрання, в якому хочеться мріяти, в якому чіткіше уявляється своє коріння і в якому чіткіше відчувається відповідальність за майбутнє.

Ми всі дуже красиві у своїх вишиванках. Давайте одягнемо цю вишивану красу - у знак єдності, підтримки, любові. На нас дивиться весь світ і в цю мить весь світ милується нами!  Світлого настрою у вишитий день!

75-та річниця Перемоги та вшанування памяті воїнів Другої Світової війни

"Це було недавно, це було давно"

З метою вшанування пам’яті всіх жертв Другої світової війни в Україні щороку 8 травня відзначається День пам’яті та примирення, 9 травня відзначається державне свято – День перемоги над нацизмом у Другій світовій війні (День перемоги) та проводяться відповідні меморіальні та урочисті заходи.

Друга світова війна – глобальний військовий конфлікт в історії Землі та причина найбільших трагедій ХХ століття.

У війні взяли участь 80 % людства, бойові дії велися у 2/3 існуючих на той момент держав.

 Війна розпочалася 1 вересня 1939 року із вторгнення військ нацистської Німеччини до Польщі, а завершилася 2 вересня 1945-го беззастережною капітуляцією Японії.

 Під час війни були здійснені найбільші в історії злочини проти людства (зокрема Голокост), а також вперше і востаннє використана атомна зброя. До армій ворогуючих сторін було залучено понад 110 мільйонів солдат, загальні втрати військових та цивільного населення складають від 50 до 85 мільйонів осіб. За результатами війни було створено ООН (Україна – один із засновників) та сформовано сучасну систему міжнародних відносин.

Шлях до початку війни був відкритий Пактом Молотова–Ріббентропа

23 серпня 1939 року. Згідно із таємним протоколом до нього, нацисти та комуністи ділили Східну Європу на зони інтересів. Внаслідок цих домовленостей Третій Райх отримав змогу безперешкодного вторгнення в Польщу. СРСР розширився за рахунок Західної Білорусі та Західної України, Бессарабії з Буковиною, трьох країн Балтії, а також частини Фінляндії.

Друга світова війна для України розпочалася 1 вересня 1939 року з німецьким вторгненням в Польщу. 110–120 тисяч українців у лавах Війська Польського розпочали світову боротьбу проти нацизму, 8 тисяч із них загинуло протягом першого місяця війни. Також 1 вересня Люфтваффе бомбардувало Львів та інші західноукраїнські міста, що перебували у складі Польщі. Між 12 та 22 вересня Львів пережив подвійну облогу із заходу нацистськими військами, зі сходу – радянськими.

СРСР вступив у Другу світову війну 17 вересня 1939 року на боці нацистської Німеччини. В цей день радянські війська вступили в Польщу на допомогу німецьким та окупували Західну Україну та Західну Білорусь. Протягом двох років Москва була союзницею Берліна.

Нацистсько-комуністичний союз був зруйнований 22 червня 1941 року німецьким вторгненням у СРСР. Протягом року з початку німецько-радянської війни Україна була окупована військами Третього Райху, вигнання нацистів розпочалося восени 1943 року і завершилося наприкінці 1944-го. Український напрям був головним на Східному фронті: тут діяло від 50 до 75 % всіх дивізій Вермахту і половина всіх радянських сил.

Нацистський окупаційний режим в Україні був одним із найжорстокіших у світі. Безпосередньо своїми руками або із залученням “добровільних помічників” із числа місцевого населення нацисти знищили 1,5 мільйона українських євреїв і 20 тисяч ромів.

THE STORY OF MY TROUBLES

From my childhood I was an easily taught and obedient boy. My kindness was so noticeable that my friends made fun of me. I was especially fond of animals and had a great number of pets. With these I spent most of my time, and never was so happy as when feeding and playing with them. My character did not change much when I grew up.

I married early, and was happy to find in my wife a character very much like my own. Seeing my love for pets she never lost a chance of getting the most pleasant animals. We had birds, gold-fish, a fine dog, rabbits, a small monkey, and a cat.

This cat was a remarkably large and beautiful animal, quite black and surprisingly clever. In speaking of his cleverness, my wife, who was a superstitious woman, often mentioned the old popular belief, which considered all black cats to be in disguise.

Pluto - this was the cat’s name -was my favorite pet and playmate. I alone fed him, and he followed me everywhere about the house. It was even with difficulty that I could prevent him following me through the streets.

Our friendship lasted for several years, during which my character (I blush to confess it) had changed for the worse. I became day by day more moody and irritable. It often happened that I hurt the feelings of others; I suffered myself as I was rude to my wife. At last I even hit her.

My pets, of course, could feel the change in my character. In fact, I began to treat them cruelly. As for Pluto, I held back from cruelty as I did treat cruelly the rabbits, the monkey, or even the dog when they came in my way. But my illness took hold of me- for what other illness is like alcohol!- and at last even Pluto ,who was now becoming old, even Pluto began to feel the effects of my temper.

William Shakespeare.

Nowadays people seem to read newspapers mostly. Many people are fond of reading detective stories or spy thrillers. I myself prefer books about politics, history.

I enjoy reading books by such English writers as Charles Dickens, Walter Scott. My favorite writer is William Shakespeare, one of the outstanding personalities in the world literature.

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon not far from London. His father, John Shakespeare , came to Stratford from a village and opened a shop there. He never became a rich man but at one time he was an important official in the city. William Shakespeare lived in Stratford until he was twenty-one. He got married and had three children. At the age of 21 William left Stratford for London to join a company of actors. William Shakespeare lived and worked in London for 25 years.

In all William Shakespeare wrote 37 plays, 2 long poems, a sonnet cycle of 155 small pieces.

William Shakespeare had a natural gift for comedy. In his comedies William Shakespeare describes the adventures of young men and women, their love, friendship, happiness.

In England and other countries it is the highest honor for an actor to be invited to play in a comedy or tragedy by William Shakespeare. In the last 35 years all the plays by William Shakespeare have been filmed. Since 1879 Shakespeare’s Festival has been held every year at Stratford-upon-Avon.
